Don't Scrap Your Scraps! Project 2: Scrap Art

This is the easiest scrap project. Ever.

Supplies:
Itty bitty scraps that you can't bear to part with
Glass jar with lid

How to:
Open jar.
Insert scraps.
Close jar.
Stand back and admire!
I got this idea when I was working on my City Weekend Baby Boy quilt. I've never been so attached to a little pile of scraps, but for some reason I just couldn't toss these! The bigger scraps became improv blocks, and the little bits are now art!

Great idea. I recently started putting packs of fat quarters in a basket for a center piece. Also balls of yarn but never thought of using scraps of fabric. I have a great vase at home in Arizona that I have never found anything I like in it. That problem has been solved. Thanks

What a perfect idea for someone like me who never throws a single stitch of fabric away!! I love this idea and plan to make my own jar this week! Thanks for the idea.

This is great! I am totally an itty bitty scrap keeper! I have such a hard time throwing some of them away! I thought I was the only one. Thanks for sharing this. I have plenty of jars around here so I will be putting those to use. I love your blog. I found it through Noodle-Head.
