So, how did everyone do with their February Challenges?
My February Challenge was to open up to people at Quilt Con, and I think that I did pretty well! There are lots of people who I should have approached, and didn't. But I did connect with several people! I met Jen (in the airport in Chicago, before we even got to QuiltCon!!), Charlotte, Emily, Emily, Erika, Felicity (again!), Jacquie (she even remembered who I was!!!) and so many more people! It was a fun experience, which I partially credit to the fact that I traveled with and roomed with my awesome friend, Mandy. I'll chat more about our adventures and the QC experience in a few days, but suffice it to say I'm glad that I challenged my introverted self!
For my March challenge, I am going to push myself to write a class series, to be presented to a few of my local quilt shops. I'm really excited about the ideas that I have, I just hope that people will be interested enough in the material to take the classes!
Now let's talk about YOUR challenges! Leave me a comment and let me know how you did in February. Then link up with a new (or continued *wink*) challenge for March!
The link up will close at the end of the day on March 5th!

you did a fab job! I was so happy to meet you :-D
My Feb challenge was pretty much cleaning up my quilt room. I did that. I even sorted my fabric. Then I started cutting out scraps and more scraps. And even more scraps. Until I ended up with 3 separate scrap/stash busting quilts out of all of it. I'm still cutting for the. There was a LOT of stash to use up. Oops.
I...did not meet my goal - my Madrona Road challenge top didn't get made this month so obviously I couldn't try out new FMQ on it. This month, though, for sure. It was so great to see you again, Nikki! (BTW: did you see that the MQG wants to see QuiltCon tattoos?)
It was so great to meet you! And.. when you're in chicago next you'll have to come sew with Emily and I!
I'm going to go figure out some goals for this month... and link up here when I'm done!
I just posted my February Challenge results on my own blog with my goals for March! While I may not have been as forward as I would have liked about getting my new pattern some recognition, I did hand out a few at the end (and fellow students in my classes asked to buy a couple, which was nice). I also feel like I came away with a direction.
Thanks for being my awesome roommate and friend! It really feels like we both got some forward momentum, and some interesting ideas to mull over, even if they weren't what we thought they'd be in the beginning.
